Hey, I’m Samantha.
Writing speculative fiction is a no-brainer for me because I live in “what if.” What if dragons roamed the earth? What if the robot revolution ravaged the world? Characters, plots, and set pieces are erected in my mind for a single purpose.
To see a new perspective.
We live in a world of possibility, a realm of choices and consequences. It’s my mission to explore those possibilities, to seek purpose and meaning in the depths of imagination.
Because the greatest “what if” is what we are called to create.
The Person Beyond the Author
You can only learn so much from a digital profile. Nevertheless, here’s a few things you might find interesting about me:
- I love classical books and strive to write a piece that leaves a lasting impact similar to War of the Worlds and Count of Monte Cristo
- While not a "movie buff," I thoroughly enjoy action and adventure flicks and dabble with romantic comedies. I often binge shows like Stargate SG-1, MacGyver, and NCIS
- I love to cook and regularly seek new recipes. Nothing with nuts though; I'd should say allergies, but I honestly hate the smell
- I serve at my church as a propresenter (that's the person putting lyrics on the screen). My favorite part is working with a team and laughing at our random shenanigans.
- I love nature. Not in a tree-hugger kind of way. Just being within a forest or by a lake allows my mind to wander to other realms and explore new stories
